Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestra Association 2011 Concerto Competition

Applications

Winner(s) will receive a cash award and perform with the Knoxville Symphony Youth Orchestra February 27, 2011.

Rehearsal Schedule will be determined after the 2011 winner(s) are announced.

The competition is open to all students age 18 and under who play an orchestral instrument.

Each application must have a private instructor and a parent’s signature. Applicants are required to have their own accompanist.

The competition is limited to one movement of a solo work with orchestral accompaniment and should not exceed ten minutes in length.

There is a non-refundable $25.00 application fee.
