Susan Eddlemon


Susan Lang Eddlemon, violinist with the KSO, is a graduate of the Juilliard School in New York City where she studied under Joseph Fuchs and is the first woman violinist to receive a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Juilliard. She has extensive solo, chamber and orchestral experience including two Carnegie Hall performances and also performances as an original member of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. She has served as Concert Master of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Boris Goldovsky Opera Company, Oak Ridge Symphony and the Symphony of the Mountains. She has also performed extensively in the string sections of many regional orchestras and for special community performances.
