The KSO thanks all its patrons in these challenging times, as your continued support is inspiring.  Support like this is one of the key reasons the KSO has been around for more than 85 years.  Rest assured that the musicians, staff, and volunteers of the KSO remain committed to providing great music to our community now and for many years to come.

 

When will the music return?

The KSO will return to the stage in February 2021 with multiple performances available for livestream. Concerts will be broadcast live from the beautiful and historic Bijou and Tennessee Theatres featuring Knoxville Symphony Orchestra musicians led by Aram Demirjian. Performance and program details are evolving and we are updating the website as those become available. Check back frequently!

 

Current subscribers will have access to all digital performances in every series. Alternately, individual broadcasts can be purchased for $20. Prior to each broadcast—whether a subscriber or single concert purchaser–you will be emailed a link that will allow live concert viewing.  Each concert will also be available on demand for 30 days after its initial airing.

 

How do I purchase a livestream ticket?

You may visit each individual concert event page for performances February-May 2021 and click the button for “tickets”. Repertoire will be updated as available and links will continue to be added throughout the season.

 

How do I access the broadcasts?

If you are a current subscriber, the KSO must have your email address to deliver the required viewing link. If you have not provided an email address previously, or have requested to stop receiving KSO emails, please email us at boxoffice@knoxvillesymphony.com.

 

If you purchase a $20 livestream ticket you will be emailed a link for the concert. If you choose to watch the concert live, click on the link just before the concert is set to begin. Purchase livestream tickets through any of the February-May 2021 individual concert event pages and click on the button for “tickets”.

 

On what platform will KSO concerts be livestreamed?

The KSO will use Vimeo to livestream concerts.

 

Do I have to pay to watch a livestreamed concert?

If you are a current (2020-2021 season) KSO subscriber, you will automatically receive a link to view each livestream concert. If you are not a subscriber, but would like to purchase a livestream ticket for an individual concert, you may do so from any of our concert event pages utilizing the “tickets” button.

 

How do I know which performances will be streamed?

It is the KSO’s plan to livestream all concerts from February – May 2021. Information on each individual concert page will indicate that the concert is being livestreamed.

 

On what devices can I watch a livestreamed concert?

You can watch a livestream KSO concert on any smartphone, tablet, laptop or smart TV. KSO concerts will be streamed via Vimeo.

What about program books?

The KSO will have a digital program book available for concerts this spring. Books will cover a month of concerts at a time and will include many of the traditional aspects of a book, including repertoire, artist biographies, upcoming events and donor listings. A link to access the digital program book will be provided to all subscribers and single ticket purchasers.

 

When will concerts with live audiences return?

The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra intends to return to public performance with an audience just as soon as possible.  We are working closely with our concert venues and local health experts, and have crafted a detailed plan that considers the safety of both musicians and patrons. Visit our website frequently for updates on when live audiences will be welcomed to the concert hall again.

 

When will details about the 2021-2022 season be available?

We are currently working to craft programming for the 2021-2022 subscription season. If you are a current subscriber, expect to receive details in March. Or, to be added to our announcement list, send us an email at boxoffice@knoxvillesymphony.com.

 

Will you be holding your annual fundraising events, like the Symphony Ball?
