  • 2021-2022 Season

What are COVID-19 protocols for in-person concerts?

The KSO’s COVID-19 protocols follow social distancing guidelines and venue policies to ensure that our patrons and musicians have a safe and healthy experience at all our concerts. The KSO intends to return to in-person concerts with full seating on all concert nights for the 21-22 season. We are working closely with our concert venues and local health experts keeping the health and safety of both musicians and patrons as our priority. As guidelines evolve, we will continue to update our website with more detailed safety protocols.

Current COVID-19 protocols for 20-21 season:
    • Contactless ticketing – Mobile tickets will eliminate the close interaction between our ushers and our patrons.
    • No intermissions – All of our 20-21 concerts will be performed without an intermission. The running time has been adjusted to just over an hour depending on the concert.
    • Masks required – Wearing a mask is mandatory and must be worn throughout the concert-going experience.
    • Socially-distanced seating – Patrons will be seated according to each venue’s social distancing guidelines.
    • Mobile programs – Digital program will be available and will allow for patrons to view repertoire, artist biographies, upcoming events, and donor listings.
    • Health screening – Upon your arrival to the venue, all patrons’ temperatures will be taken.

Will you continue livestreaming performances for the 2021-22 season?

We are still in the decision-making stage as to whether livestreaming of performances will continue during the 21-22 season.

Will physical tickets and programs return for the 21-22 season?

We will not be returning to physical tickets or programs for the 21-22 season.

Mobile tickets are emailed to patrons 48 hours prior to the show. If you cannot find your ticket in your inbox, please check your spam and junk folders or contact the box office. If you do not have a phone to present your ticket at the concert, you may print off your ticket at home or, if requested, we will prepare vouchers at the box office.

Concert programs will remain digital going forward. Books will include many of the traditional aspects including repertoire, program notes, artist biographies, upcoming events, and donor listings.
