Jennifer George
Biography
Originally from Boise, Idaho, Jennifer joined the Knoxville Symphony in September of 2022. Previously, she was a member of the Naples Philharmonic for 6 seasons from 2016-2022, where she received tenure under the baton of Andrey Boreyko. During that time, she spent her summers performing with the Charlottesville Opera as a core second violin. Prior to joining the Naples Philharmonic, Jennifer received a Bachelor of Music degree from Vanderbilt University where she studied with Dr. Carolyn Huebl, followed by a Master of Music degree from Florida State University where she studied with Dr. Benjamin Sung. During her time at FSU, she performed with many orchestras in the area, including the Tallahassee Symphony and Pensacola Symphony. Jennifer currently lives in Knoxville with her husband, Arthur, and their Shih Tzu, Karl.
