Market Square in Downtown Knoxville | 7:30 pm

Bring a lawn chair and join us on Market Square for a free evening of orchestral music in the heart of downtown. The program features music by Mozart, Dvořák, Gershwin, Duke Ellington and more, along with Tennessee favorites Tennessee Waltz and Rocky Top.

The KSO will also pay tribute to Dolly Parton with performances of I Will Always Love You and 9 to 5, featuring Knoxville vocalist Kathryn Paden. A familiar presence with the KSO, Paden has appeared in the Clayton Holiday Concerts, Symphony Ball and Very Young People’s Concerts and has served as narrator for the KSO’s Musical Story Time since 2022.

Convenient parking is free for those arriving after 6 p.m. in the city-owned Market Square, Walnut Street, Locust Street, and State Street garages.
