The Knoxville Symphony’s MoxCar Marketing + Communications Masterworks Series rings in a season of celebration with Beethoven’s immortal Ninth Symphony, featuring the iconic “Ode to Joy” in its powerful fourth movement. The program opens with the world premiere of a KSO-commissioned fanfare composed by Maryville-native Jennifer Higdon, marking the first installment in the KSO’s season-long “9 for 90” project, which will feature nine world premieres throughout the 90th season.
